There are two tyre sizes with which the Baleno is offered by Maruti Suzuki in India. The first two variants of the hatchback are offered with 185/65 R15 tyres, while the more premium, higher two variants of the Baleno come with 195/55 R16 tyres.

Since its launch in 2015, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno has always been available in four variants – Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. While the Sigma and Delta variants come equipped with 185/65 R15 tyres, the higher-spec Zeta and Alpha variants have 195/55 R16 tyres.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Specifications and Features

The Baleno is the most premium hatchback offering from Maruti Suzuki and is the highest-selling model from Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa chain of premium outlets. The first-generation version was available with 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engine options. However, the second-generation version is a petrol-only model, which has a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine as the standard engine option. Available with 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options, the new Baleno claims 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque.

With the second-generation version, the new Maruti Suzuki Baleno became a more stylish and better-equipped model than before. With this update, it got new segment-first features like a 360-degree parking camera and head-up display. It also got newer features like a bigger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, advanced telematics, six airbags, revised LED headlamps and tail lamps and automatic climate control.
