Continental launches three new motorcycle tyres in India

Continental sports bike tyres are quite popular. In 2016, the company will be introducing several new ranges of tyres for motorcycle enthusiasts. For motorcycle racers and regular trackday riders, Continental will introduce ContiTrack Slick tyres. The company has made small changes to the previous generation tyre and fine-tuned the construction and compound of the same to make it more competitive on the racetrack. This tyre has been developed to offer precise steering and increased traction while coming out of the corners. Moreover, the stability while heavy braking is also said to be improved. Within this range of tyres, a total of 15 sizes have been announced.

Another tyre that is new for 2016 is the ContiSportAttack 3 hypersport tyre. This tyre was officially launched in July 2015, ahead of its market introduction. The company says the ContiSportAttack 3 "sets new standards" for handling and performance at high lean angles in both dry and wet conditions.
The company added, “The ContiSportAttack 3, which is hand-made in Germany, features substantial improvement in wet grip levels, thanks to a completely revised tread pattern which aids water drainage from around the contact patch, and our latest RainGrip compound, the result of extensive research and development by our expert chemists at Continental. The size of the contact patch has also been optimised to improve overall grip on both wet and dry surfaces.”
According to the company, the new Grip Limit Feedback Technology delivers “unparalleled levels of feedback at high angles of lean”, which gives riders “greater control at the limit”. The company has positioned the ContiSportAttack 3 as the ideal tyre for fast road-riding and occasional trackdays.
ContiRoadAttack 2 EVO is another addition to the 2016 Continental motorcycle tyre line-up. This tyre is developed specially for touring bikes. The tyre compound is re-engineered for improved wet grip.
