Apollo’s Alnac 4G All Season tyre has been rated ‘outstanding’ in a recent all-season tyre test conducted by the German magazine Auto Bild Allrad. Competing in the mass premium category, the Alnac 4G All Season tyre offers superior performance and offers the best value for money among all products tested, said the German magazine.

It is a known fact that drivers in Europe face extreme driving conditions. As a result, the testers reviewed the performance of the Apollo Alnac 4G All Season on snow, wet and dry roads. The tested tyre was in the size 215/65 R16 and was shod on a compact SUV. Based on their observations, the reviewers adjudged the tyre to provide - Good performance on snow, excellent cornering on dry roads and a very low rolling resistance.

The Apollo Alnac 4G All Season is an asymmetrical design tyre. Each segment of the tyre is designed and developed for a specific purpose, making it a perfect tyre for safe driving in all seasons, Apollo claims. The low weight of the tyre ensures low rolling resistance which, in turn, improves fuel efficiency.

The Apollo Alnac 4G All Season is available in sizes of 15 to 17 inches and is also provided with the Three Peak Snowflake symbol and the regular M&S code, thereby complying with the guidelines which apply in countries where winter tyres are compulsory, the company added.

Commenting on the achievement, Dr Seshu Bhagavathula, Chief Technology Officer, Apollo Tyres said, "The European market for all-season tyres is growing as more and more people choose to drive on the same tyres throughout the year. Leveraging its 20 years of knowledge on all-seasons, the team at Apollo Tyres’ Global R&D Centre in The Netherlands has come out with winner products, such as the Apollo Alnac 4G All Season tyre."
