Apollo Tyres To Launch Vredestein Brand In March

In September 2020, Apollo Vredestein launches a full range of ultra-high performance tyre for the North American market.

In 2009, Apollo had acquired Netherlands-based Vredestein, which is one of the oldest tyre manufacturing companies in the world and has a range of premium and performance car radials, aimed at the luxury end of the market.

Apollo Tyres introduced Vredestein tyres range in India in 2013, although the tyres were only brought in as full imports.

In August 2020, Apollo Tyres had announced that it was working towards locally manufacturing Vredestein branded tyres in India and that it was planning to introduce the brand in the country.

Now, the tyre maker has announced that it will unveil the European tyre brand in India in March 2021. The company has also announced that it has started manufacturing Vredestein tyres in the country with moulds brought from Europe.

With Vredestein, Apollo Tyres is planning to cater to the premium segment of the market. The brand will compete against other international manufacturers such as Michelin, Bridgestone and Goodyear.
