Published On 06-Jun-2016
Apollo Tyres, in its effort to become a global brand, has introduced its range of tyres in the Lebanon market. The company has opened its first branded outlet in the country. This outlet has been branded Apollo Zone and designed and laid out in a way that it enhances the customer retail experience and provides a better feel for the brand and products on display. The product line includes Passenger Car tyres, Truck/Bus tyres and Agriculture tyres.
The Apollo Zone retail store has been opened in association with Saka Trading Co. It is located in the Beqaa Governorate of Lebanon on the main road connecting Lebanon to Syria. Saka Trading Co. is one of the oldest and most respected whole-sellers and retailers of tyres, batteries and car accessories in Lebanon.
The retail store is inaugurated by Sujay Srivastava, Head of Apollo Tyres Middle East and the Proprietors of Saka Trading Co Wassim Abdul Khalek and Nabil Abdul Khalek. The representatives of both Apollo Tyres and Saka Trading Co. were also present at the event.
Satish Sharma, President, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, Apollo Tyres Ltd, said, "The growing passenger vehicle segment of Lebanon, along with the entire Middle East region, has a lot of potential for us. The decade-old partnership with Saka Traders has helped Apollo Tyres create a strong customer acknowledgment for our products. We would like to have a larger mind space with the customers in the 80,000-a-month tyre market in Lebanon. The Apollo Zone that we have opened in Lebanon will help us increase visibility for the Apollo brand and will also result in a better and informed buying experience for the consumers."
All Apollo Zones follow the same design and format where the focus is primarily on visual appeal, comfort and convenience to customers. These stores focus on providing customers an opportunity to learn about application and performance of the products before making a purchase.
This is the third retail store of Apollo Tyres in the Middle East region after Dubai and Kuwait.
