Indian tyre manufacturer CEAT Ltd announced its collaboration with Mahindra Adventure on June 23, 2016. Together, CEAT and Mahindra Adventure will be hosting seven of the most challenging expeditions of India. The first such expedition kicked off from Delhi on Friday, June 24, 2016. The CEAT-Mahindra Adventure association has effectively entered its third year. Friday's expedition marks the beginning of the expeditions which are scheduled to take place over the next six months.
CEAT has always been in the forefront of propagating the need for road safety. Continuing the trend with the expeditions as well, it will supply tyres to participating vehicles. These tyres, CEAT says, will help the participants tackle the rough terrains that stand in their way of completing these expeditions.
The journey will comprise of events such as the multi-day Escapes like Monastery Escape, Royal Escape, Wild Escape, Authentic North East and the Spiti Escape. For the 2016 season, Mahindra Adventure has also introduced two more multi-day expeditions – Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Authentic Bhutan.
Being the pioneer of the "arrive and drive" concept, Mahindra Adventure has been a leader when it comes to the art of getting lost. It has given people lifetime memories in the form of trips, be it a single-day off-road adventure or multi-day expeditions, to some of the most beautiful places in India as well as abroad.
