China-based Wanshida to enter Indian aftermarket via Bangladesh

Guangdon Chaoan Wanshida Automobile Accessories Co. (Wanshida), a China-based tyre repair tool specialist, is planning to enter the Indian aftermarket via the Bangladesh route. The Chinese company launched its products like tyre sealant, also known as Mega Magic Tyre Sealant, and other related products in India at the recently held ACMA Automechanika, one of the country's leading International Trade Fair for automotive industry, in New Delhi.

After setting foot in India, Wanshida will be selling its products, mainly the instant tyre sealant products, through Mega Group, a Bangladesh-based international auto parts distributor. The product Mega Magic Tyre Sealant is targeted at the two-wheeler and the passenger car segment in the Indian auto market. The new tyre sealant can seal up to 50 cracks or leaks at a time in any tyre and tube, and can also seal from 6.8mm to 38mm tyre cracks.

All the products sold by Wanshida are developed by the company only, however, the source of the technical knowledge is an unknown British technology provider. Wanshida has links with both China and India, while its headquarters is based in Bangladesh.
