Falken named official tyre supplier for Jeep Renegade Trailhawk SUV

Jeep Renegade to run on Falken Wildpeak H/T 01 A2 tyres [/caption]
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has named Falken tyres as the OE supplier for its Jeep Renegade Trailhawk SUV. Falken would shod Renegade with its Wildeak HT/01 A2 light truck/SUV tyre in fitment size of 215/65 R17.
Falken has tweaked its tyre in order to suit the requirements of Jeep. The OE would come with stronger shoulder for optimized contact patch and improved safety, says Sumitomo Rubber, owner, Falken Tires.
Rick Brennan, Executive Director- Marketing, Falken commented., “The pairing of our Wildpeak H/T01A 2 with the Jeep Renegade makes a perfect combination for the vehicle’s driving experience. We are confident this alignment will produce a successful partnership for both of our industry-leading brands.”
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles claims that Jeep Renegade Trailhawk model deliver best in class 4X4 rated performance due to its propietary Jeep Active Drive Low, which includes 20:1 crawl ratio and a shift-on fly select terrain system. It shares platform with Fiat 500X and comes with 4X4 trail rated badges, signaling that this machines means serious business as an off-roader.
Jeep has OE contracts with other brands as well for different versions of its Renegade. While Renegade Latitude and Sport versions come shod with Continental Conti CrossContact LX tyres, Renegade Limited version makes use of Goodyear Eagle Sport or Kumho Crugen.
