Goodyear launches Assurance TripleMax monsoon tyres in India
Published On 07-Jun-2016
Goodyear has launched its latest range of monsoon tyres, the Assurance TripleMax, in India. The Goodyear Assurance TripleMax is the latest monsoon tyre that comes equipped with Hydrogrip Technology. This new technology helps reduce braking distance by up to 2 metres on wet surfaces.
The TripleMax tyre has been specially designed for mid and premium passenger vehicles but what makes this tyre different from the other products in the segment is the Hydrogrip technology.
Commenting on the launch, PK Walia, VP, Consumer Business, Goodyear India, said, "Setting a new standard in tyre innovation, the Assurance TripleMax uses Hydrogrip Technology, a Goodyear proprietary technology that allows drivers to reduce braking distances by more than 2 metres on wet roads compared to other tyres in the market today.”
According to the tyre maker, the Hydrogrip Technology provides maximum wet grip through a new tread compound, maximum control via a larger surface area contact patch meaning there is more rubber on the road and maximum braking ability by way of biting edges with large block elements. All of this combined results in a safer and more comfortable ride.
Apart from this, the Goodyear Assurance TripleMax tyre is developed keeping in mind the consumer needs. It is built to provide better fuel efficiency and durability. Goodyear has improved its tyres by reducing their rolling resistance. If the tyre has low rolling resistance, the vehicle requires less energy to propel forward. The new Goodyear Assurance TripleMax monsoon tyres are available in two wheel diameters - 14 and 16-inch - and in multiple sizes that can be used on sub-compact cars as well as luxury sedans.
