Hankook showcases tyre range for Euro 5 and 6 commercial vehicles at CV Show

Hankook has showcased its commercial vehicle tyre portfolio for Euro V and VI vehicles at the Hankook’s Commercial Vehicle Show. The Hankook SmartFlex Ah31 and TL02 trailer tyres were the main products that were displayed along with the Alphatread retread range, which was extended with the addition of the popular 315/70R22.5 size. The tyres were made available in January. Besides this, the company has organized a football competition and has also sponsored the UEFA Europa League through the competition.

According to the company, the continued R&D has led it to increase load index of the SmartFlex AH31 medium to long-haul truck tyres for all season in size 295/80R22.5.

The SmartFlex AH31 has been designed specifically for the new Euro V and Euro VI vehicles and will be available in the second quarter of 2015. The SmartFlex AH31 295/80R22.5 has a load index of 154M and is suitable for vehicles with a front axle weight capacity of 7500kg. Hankook TL02 trailer tyre in size 295/60R22.5, on the other hand, has been used in the car transporter industry with a load index of 152J (7,100kg).

At the show, the company also displayed the next generation e-cube series, the e-cube Max, along with the winter SmartControl AW02, on and off-road SmartWork DM09 and TH22 long-haul trailer tyre. The e-cube series has been developed for increased sustainability and efficiency in long-distance transportation. The e-cube series include the AL10+ (steer), DL10+ (drive), and the matching trailer tyre TL10+.

In the truck segment, Hankook also laid emphasis on its 24-hour truck breakdown service, Hankook Road Assist 24h, which is available to the customers in more than 30 countries. The light CV segment tyres - Vantra LT summer tyre for commercial vans and transporters were also showcased. These tyres has improved fuel efficiency and longevity for extended mileage.
