iVOOMi Jeet X ZE Launched, Bookings Open: Gets TVS-Eurogrip Conta 550 Tyres

iVOOMi’s flagship offering, the Jeet X electric scooter, has been updated with new features and battery options while being more affordable than before. Here are the details on the tyres equipped in the new iVOOMi Jeet X ZE and the changes introduced:

• The iVOOMi Jeet X ZE now gets three battery pack options, with a maximum claimed range of 170 km. 
• The 12-inch wheels of the iVOOMi Jeet X ZE have 90/90-12 TVS-Eurogrip Conta 550 tubeless tyres over them.
• The new features introduced comprise turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, geo-fencing and distance-to-empty.
  
  

India-based electric mobility startup iVOOMi has updated its flagship offering, the Jeet X, with new battery packs, colour schemes and additional features. The prices of the updated, new iVOOMi Jeet X ZE now start at Rs 79,999, with the bookings of the new scooter open at iVOOMi’s dealerships and website. 

Here are all the details of the new features, changes and tyres offered in the new iVOOMi Jeet X ZE:

iVOOMi Jeet X ZE: Tyres And Wheels

The iVOOMi Jeet X ZE features 12-inch alloy wheels that come with 90/90-12 tubeless tyres at both ends, much like in many other scooters equipped with 12-inch wheels. The 90/90-12 tyres equipped in this scooter are TVS-Eurogrip Conta 550, one of the most affordable scooter tyres on sale in India.

The optimised tread pattern design of the TVS-Eurogrip tyre results in excellent dispersion of water, leading to better performance in wet conditions. The advanced tri-polymer tread compound using high-structure carbon gives this longevity-oriented tyre an optimum grip, durability and efficiency. The TVS-Eurogrip Conta 550 for iVOOMi Jeet X ZE also has a directional pattern with a special Nylon reinforcement bonding system for enhanced high-speed handling and braking. 

iVOOMi Jeet X ZE: Looks And Design

The iVOOMi Jeet X ZE continues to retain the neo-retro design with an LED headlamp, apron-mounted U-shaped LED DRL, LED turn indicators and LED tail lamp. However, the new updated version also gets additional features like turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, geo-fencing and distance-to-empty, which were missing in the previous version. Other features like a USB charging socket and digital instrument console also remain the same as they were before. 

The updated iVOOMi Jeet X ZE is now on sale with eight colour options – Premium Gold, Urban Green, Nardo Grey, Pearl Rose, Imperial Red, Morning Silver, Shadow Brown and Cerulean Blue. 

iVOOMi Jeet X ZE: Engine And Specifications

Compared to the pre-updated Jeet X, which was on sale with single and double 2kWh battery pack options, the new iVOOMi Jeet X ZE is being offered with three single battery pack options – 2.1kWh, 2.5kWh and 3kWh. In the full-spec version, the Jeet X ZE claims a maximum range of 170 km. The hub-mounted 2.5kW electric motor remains unchanged, which gives it a top speed of 70 kmph.
