Uncertainties linger over major Expos across the globe
After hitting the production of most manufacturing facilities of the automobiles sector, the dark clouds of Coronavirus are lingering over various Auto Expos across the globe. The latest to come under the impact of Covid-19 is the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo and the Latin Auto Parts Expo.
Earlier, the Expos were scheduled for July 14 to 17. But now, the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo and the Latin Auto Parts Expo will take place on November 17 to 20, 2020.
The venue for the event is the new Amador Convention Center located in Panama City, the Republic of Panama. Spanned over an area of 59,000 sq.m, the Convention Center will be witnessing around 400 international exhibitors from different sections of the tyre and allied industries including tyre service and repair companies, tyre manufacturers, auto part manufacturers, auto service, tools and equipment, retreading, wheels and many more. The officials are expecting a turnout of 5,000 visitors at the event.
This will be the first time since its inception almost 11 years ago that tyres and auto parts will be exhibited together at the Expo. In the four-day Expo, the first two days will be witnessing conferences related to tyres while the remaining two days will feature auto part conferences.
The annual Expo was last time organised in July at the Atlapa Convention Centre at Panama, the Republic of Panama. It saw the participation of 200+ exhibitors but the number will be doubled this time as the Latin Auto Parts Expo is being jointly organised.
The Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo has been a crucial connect between tyre manufacturers and tyre distributors from Mexico, South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
