Michelin concept store TYREPLUS now in Gurgaon

Globally-reputed tyre manufacturer Michelin has just opened its state-of-the-art concept store called 'TYREPLUS' in DLF Phase-3, Gurgaon. This store will reinforce the company's distribution network in the NCR region. Located in Cybercity near Sikandarpur Metro station, the store lies in the centre of Gurgaon. The store is built over an area of 1800 square feet.

A team of 15 technically-trained executives will make use of the fully-equipped workshop to handle various vehicle services along with tyre-related services.

Mr. Mohan Kumar, Commercial Director, Michelin India, said, "We are delighted to inaugurate this brand new TYREPLUS outlet in Gurgaon. TYREPLUS offers the best of Michelin purchasing experience. The opening of this outlet in NCR is in line with our strategy to expand and redefine the purchasing experience of Indian consumers."

TYREPLUS is Michelin's global brand of its retailing concept that has an independent network of tyre retail stores. These retail stores also offer other branded tyres in addition to those by Michelin. Services like tyre repairs, wheel balancing and wheel alignment are provided using the latest equipment.

Non-tyre related services include oil and battery changes, comprehensive brake inspection and replacement and other minor mechanical repairs. The company claims to offer these services at a competitive price and in a clean, friendly, safe and comfortable environment.

The first TYREPLUS concept store was established in 2002. At present, its network is spread across 22 countries including Australia, China, Brazil, Mexico, India, Russia, Thailand, U.A.E and Taiwan.

Michelin, headquartered in Clermont-Ferrand, France, is currently present in 170 countries employing 1,12,300 employees. Its 68 production plants are operating in 17 different countries.
