MRF launches ZLX tyre range for hatchbacks in India

MRF has recently launched its new tyre series called ZLX in India. This range of tyres is mainly targeted at hatchback owners. The ZLX tyres are available for 12, 13 and 14-inch wheels. It uses multi-layered steel-belted design with N-66 ply to deliver performance in all kinds of terrain.
According to the MRF, the ZLX features a uniquely-designed laterally-grooved pattern that enhances the ride comfort. It is also claimed to have strong shoulder ribs that improve the handling of the vehicle. The wide-tread design allows for improved life of the tyre whereas its ‘edge-to-edge comfy’ stabilizer liner improves vehicle stability.
The MRF ZLX range comprises one option in 12-inch ZLX- 145/80 R12, three in 13-inch - 155/65 R13, 155/70R13 and 155/80R13, and two options in 14-inch- 155/70 R14 and 165/80 R14.
MRF is clearly banking on the comfort factor of this tyre which can also be seen in its latest advertisement.
