The Kawasaki Eliminator is back, and how. Read more to find out about the tyres offered in the new Kawasaki Eliminator, along with its technical specifications and design details:
The Kawasaki Eliminator is now on sale in India in a single variant, which is available in Metallic Flat Spark Black colour and is priced at Rs 5.62 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The Kawasaki Eliminator comes equipped with unique IRC Grand High Speed GS-23 tubeless tyres, measuring 130/70-18 at the front and 150/80-16 at the rear.
The new Kawasaki Eliminator shares its liquid-cooled 451cc engine with the Ninja ZX-6R.
Just a day after Kawasaki started 2024 with a bang by launching the much-awaited Ninja ZX-6R on January 1st 2024, it pulled off another surprise by launching the Eliminator cruiser motorcycle in India. The Kawasaki Eliminator is not new for India, for its erstwhile generation was sold in the country in the early 2000s under Bajaj Auto, which rebranded this motorcycle and continued selling it as Avenger.
However, the all-new Eliminator is now sold by Kawasaki as a modern, new-age sub-500cc cruiser with a parallel-twin engine, which has been launched in India at Rs 5.62 lakh. Here are all the details related to the tyres offered on the Kawasaki Eliminator, along with its design and other mechanicals:
Kawasaki Eliminator: Tyres & Wheels
Like its unusual product positioning as a sub-500cc parallel-twin cruiser, the tyre sizes of Kawasaki Eliminator are also unique in their own – 130/70-18 front for the 18-inch alloy wheel and 150/80-16 for the 16-inch rear alloy wheel. For this motorcycle, Kawasaki has opted for IRC Grand High Speed GS-23 tubeless tyres, which are available on this motorcycle as standard.
The Kawasaki Eliminator is a high-speed cruiser motorcycle for long-distance cruising at high speeds and can also be used for intra-city commutes. The IRC Grand High Speed GS-23 of Kawasaki Eliminator serves both purposes with the wide contact patch, which gives it additional stability levels for low-speed and high-speed riding on flat stretches. This IRC brand tyre for Kawasaki Eliminator also has a sturdy carcass for reduced wear rate, giving it long-lasting abilities.

Kawasaki Eliminator: Looks & Design
Unlike the Kawasaki Eliminator sold in India a couple of decades ago as a Bajaj-branded motorcycle, this all-new motorcycle has a more modern appearance, with a small pinch of retro appeal. The Eliminator has an all-black appeal for its powertrain, headlamp housing, alloy wheels and exhaust pipe. Like a traditional cruiser, the Kawasaki Eliminator has a low-slung stance with lowered split seats, a long and sloping fuel tank and a low ground clearance.
Staying true to its times, the Kawasaki Eliminator also gets all-LED illumination for headlamp, tail lamp and turn indicators, unlike the more expensive but more old-school Vulcan S. The Eliminator gets a more new-age single-pod full-LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity.
Kawasaki Eliminator: Engine And Specifications
Positioned below the Kawasaki Vulcan S as a more affordable twin-cylinder cruiser motorcycle, the Kawasaki Eliminator is powered by the same four-stroke, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin, 451cc engine, which also powers the Ninja 400 sold in India. Paired with a 6-speed transmission, this engine produces a maximum power output of 45 PS and a peak torque output of 42.6 Nm.
The Eliminator also gets 41mm telescopic forks at the front and twin coil springs at the rear for its suspension, and a 310mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc for braking.
