CEAT Launches Colour Tread Wear Indicator Tyres

The new CEAT tyres comes embedded with a yellow strip within the tread portion of the tyre. As the tyre wears off, the yellow strip start appearing, indicating it’s time to change the tyre.
Homegrown tyremaker, CEAT has launched its new Colour Tread Wear Indicator Tyres. The new product, which is also first in the industry, enhances customer safety as it gives an indication to the user when it's time to replace the tyres.
The new CEAT tyres comes embedded with a yellow strip within the tread portion of the tyre. The yellow strip isn’t visible when the tyre is new but over time, as the tyre wears off, the yellow strip start appearing, indicating it’s time to change the tyre.
These tyres are available in two sizes: 205/65 R15 Milaze X3 for the Toyota Innova and 205/65 R16 Milaze X3 for the Innova Crysta, said CEAT Tyres in a press release.
