Continental Extends Partnership With EUT As Sole Distributor In UAE

Continental also opened a new part warehouse in Jabel Ali for smoother supply of passenger car and commercial tyres to retailers
German tyre manufacturer and automotive technology company, Continental has extended partnership with Emirates for Universal Tyres (EUT) as the sole distributor for Continental in the UAE. The partnership has been extended till 31st December 2023.
The new contract was inked at a signing ceremony in Abu Dhabi by Karel Kucera, Managing Director of Continental Middle East and Khalifa Abdulla Al Masaood, Director of the Abdulla Al Masaood & Sons Group, the parent company of EUT. The ceremony was also attended by Jon Ander Garcia, Regional Manager for Middle East & Africa and Shaun Smith, General Manager at Emirates for Universal Tyres.
The German brand has significantly enhanced its support for customers across the UAE and the Middle East. Continental also opened a new part warehouse in Jabel Ali for smoother supply of passenger car and commercial tyres to retailers. The tyre brand also launched a new Generation 6 range of tyres last year, which have been designed specifically for the region.

Commenting on the renewed agreement, Karel Kucera, Managing Director of Continental Middle East, said: “We are very pleased to be continuing our agreement with EUT who have been a key partner of ours in the Middle East now for the last 10 years. They have been with us at key moments during our growth over those years. Most recently that includes things such as our ground-breaking sponsorship of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in the UAE as well as the development and launch of the regionally-tailored Generation 6 tyre range. I am confident that we will continue doing great things together in the UAE.”
