The carbon black completely revamped the industry by making the tyres very durable, and that’s the reason why you see every tyre in black colour. Whenever we drive a car for a long period of time, the tread areas and belt tends to heat up, which can be very dangerous as it can cause tyre-burst. That’s where carbon black comes into play as it helps in maintaining the temperature of the tyres. In addition to that, carbon black also protects the tyre from the UV rays as the UV rays can harden the compound of the rubber, which in return will deteriorate the performance of the tyre.
