After showcasing its unique limited-run factory custom version at Motoverse 2023, Royal Enfield has now unveiled the production-spec version of the Shotgun 650. To be offered in four colour options – Green Drill, Plasma Blue, Stencil White and Sheet Metal Grey, the new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 will be launched in the Indian two-wheeler market in the first half of 2024.
Based on the Super Meteor 650 cruiser, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 can be had either in the single-seater version or a dual-seater version. The motorcycle has a blend of a bobber and a roadster in its design, with the LED headlamp, tail lamp, fuel tank, side body panels and front and rear fenders shared with the Super Meteor 650.
However, the difference lies in the riding posture, seat height and tyres, which vary from the flagship cruiser from Royal Enfield. The Shotgun 650 gets an all-black theme for the parallel-twin engine and twin peashooter-style exhaust pipes.

The new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 shares its air-cooled, parallel-twin, 648cc engine with the other three Royal Enfield middleweight motorcycles – Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650 and Super Meteor 650. Here, the engine develops 47 bhp/52.3 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
