TVS Ronin Best Tyres

TVS was never into the cruising bikes category, but the brand is known for bringing something unique to its fanbase. Hence, it came with the Ronin, a neo-retro scrambler cum cruising motorcycle, and comes at a premium price tag. The Ronin is the second most expensive product in the line-up after Apache RR 310.

In terms of styling, the bike comes with retro styling and represents the shape of a scrambler cum café racer bike. At the front, the Ronin gets a circular headlamp incorporating T-styled LED DRLs, a single-pod instrument panel and a sleek taillight under the seat. The bike features a tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, single-piece seat, blacked-out engine casings, a big belly pan and an all-black exhaust pipe.

TVS Ronin Front Tyre

In the features department, being a flagship bike, the Ronin features LED lighting all-round, a Smart Xconnect Bluetooth connectivity system that offers alerts for calls, and SMS, while the same system provides turn-by-turn navigation and features like voice assistance. The bike also offers two modes for the anti-lock braking system – urban and rain.

The power to run comes from the 225.9cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor that produces 20.5PS and 19.93Nm torque, coupled with a 5-speed transmission with a slip-and-assist clutch. TVS has tweaked the powertrain in the favour of low and mid-range sound.

TVS Ronin Rear Tyre

The bike is suspended on the 41mm Showa Big Piston USD fork up front, and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear, while the braking is performed by disc at both ends, with the single-channel or dual-channel ABS, depending on the variant. The bike gets 17-inch alloy wheels shod with dual-purpose tyres.

The bike is available in four variants and multiple colour options, including Lightning Blac, Magma Red, Stargaze Black, Dawn Orange, Galactic Grey and Delta Blue. As the motorcycle doesn’t fit into any specific style of bike, it will compete against a variety of motorbikes such as the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Yamaha FZ-X, Honda H’ness and Bajaj Dominar 250.
