The scooter comes with Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology which performs as an electric motor offering power assistance during acceleration from a standstill, cutting down the insecurity due to wobble while taking off tandem riding and climbing incline. The mild-hybrid system works by turning off the Power Assist feature for a few seconds after start-out or when the engine rpm reaches its limit or the throttle is cut down.
The SMG is claimed to save 4 per cent more fuel than before and starts the engine silently when necessary. The RayZR also comes equipped with a Side Stand Engine Cut off, multi-function key, front convenient hook, 21L under-seat storage, and optional USB charger.
In terms of suspension, the scooter features a telescopic fork at the front and unit swing at the rear, while the braking mechanism consists of a 190mm front disc brake with Unified Brake System (UBS) and drum at the rear.

The Yamaha RayZR is available in five trims and seven elegant colour options, including Sparkle Green, Matt Copper, Racing Blue, Cocktail Yellow, Metallic Black, Cyan Blue and Matt Red.
