Honda Elevate Tyres & Wheels - All You Need To Know

With the all-new Elevate, Honda intends to make its presence felt in the already over-crowded midsize SUV segment. Here, we explain the different tyre options offered in the Honda Elevate, along with its list of features and engine options:
- The Honda Elevate has been announced in four variants for India – SV, V, VX and ZX.
- The base SV and V variants get 215/60 R16 tyres, while the VX and ZX variants feature 215/55 R17 tyres.
- The Honda Elevate has a muscular and upright stance with features like LED lights all around, 17-inch machined alloy wheels and roof rails.
- The dual-tone black/brown leather-wrapped cabin of the Elevate comes with premium features like a sunroof, wireless charger, 7-inch TFT screen, and 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
- The 1.5-litre 121 PS petrol engine of the Honda Elevate is shared with the City sedan.
Honda finally announced its arrival in the much popular midsize SUV segment with the all-new Elevate. Filling in the void created by Honda’s erstwhile rugged BR-V MPV, the new Honda Elevate SUV will now lead the new SUV lineup planned by Honda for the Indian market shortly. The bookings for the new Elevate are already on across India, with the deliveries slated to begin before the festive season.
Featuring an all-new design, the Honda Elevate takes a leaf or two from the larger global SUVs from Honda like the all-new CR-V and Pilot. The Elevate features a muscular and upright stance, along with contemporary features like all-LED headlamps and tail lamps, 17-inch machined alloy wheels, LED fog lamps and roof rails.
The cabin of the new Honda Elevate is offered with premium-looking black and brown dual-tone leather upholstery, with faux wood and satin silver inserts. The cabin is equipped with new-age features like a single-pane sunroof, wireless charger, 7-inch TFT screen in the instrument console, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and automatic climate control. The Honda Elevate will also come with Honda’s Lanewatch camera and suite of Level-2 ADAS systems called ‘Honda Sensing’.
Honda is offering the new Elevate in seven monotone colours, namely Phoenix Orange Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic and Meteoroid Grey Metallic. There are three dual-tone colour options as well - Phoenix Orange Pearl with Crystal Black roof, Radiant Red Metallic with Crystal Black roof and Platinum White Metallic with Crystal Black roof.
Honda Elevate Tyres & Wheels
The Honda Elevate is available in four variants – SV, V, VX and ZX. The lower-spec SV and V variants come equipped with 16-inch steel wheels featuring 215/60 R16 tyres. Whereas, the higher-spec VX and ZX variants have 215/55 R17 tubeless tyres. The 16-inch tyres get steel wheels, whereas the larger 17-inch tyres are fitted with dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The 16-inch tyres fitted in SV and V variants and 17-inch tyres in VX and ZX variants of the new Elevate are Bridgestone Turanza T001 tyres, which are tubeless and radial as standard.

About Bridgestone Turanza T001
The Honda Elevate is an urban SUV which has been designed to offer a comfortable drive over both wet and dry roads and in varying weather conditions. For such purposes, the Bridgestone Turanza T001 claims to enhance the ride quality and stability over varying tarmac conditions for the Honda Elevate.
The NanoPro-tech rubber compound of the Bridgestone Turanza T001 assures better dispersion of silica particles, which enhances the grip of the tyre even in wet conditions and allows for a uniform wear rate.
For all-weather performance and safety, the Bridgestone Turanza T001 comes with a specially formulated pattern and new outer tread compound, along with optimized carcass formation and solid construction. The tyre also claims to filter road noises effectively with its newly-designed noise reduction groove and longitudinal high stiffness blocks.
Engine and specifications
The Honda Elevate has been announced to arrive in India with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine as the only engine option. Shared with the Honda City, this engine develops 121 PS of maximum power and 145 Nm of maximum torque in the Elevate. The transmission options to be offered in the Honda Elevate for India are a 6-speed manual and a CVT. Unlike the Honda City, the Elevate will not be available with a hybrid powertrain.
