Like the first two 650cc offerings from Royal Enfield – Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, the new Shotgun 650 also comes with 18-inch spoke wheels wrapped with 100/90-18 tyre at the front and 130/70-18 tyre at the rear. Both these tube-type tyres are CEAT Zoom Cruz, a tyre specially designed by CEAT for the 650cc Royal Enfield motorcycle range.
A premium tyre designed to offer an optimal balance of comfort and performance, the CEAT Zoom Cruz for Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is also capable of holding traction excellently on wet surfaces. The CEAT Zoom Cruz tyre has a dual centre groove, which enhances riding comfort. This tyre also comes with a progressive circumferential shoulder groove for better handling, especially around corners. The CEAT Zoom Cruz also has extended lateral grooves from centre to shoulder for better traction on wet surfaces.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Looks & Design
Based on the Super Meteor 650, the new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 gets a more roadster-like stance, with chopped front and rear fenders, mildly rear-set footpegs and bar-end rearview mirrors. While the production-spec Shotgun 650 will get a pillion seat attached to a floating panel, it can be detached by removing four bolts, giving the Shotgun 650 the appeal of a single-seater motorcycle. The new Shotgun 650 also shares its LED headlamp and tail lamp and the part-digital instrument console with Tripper navigation with the Super Meteor 650.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Engine & Specifications
Like the other middleweight parallel-twin motorcycles from Royal Enfield, the new Shotgun 650 gets an air-cooled, parallel-twin, 648cc engine. Paired with a 6-speed transmission, this engine is in a different state of tune compared to Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650 and Super Meteor 650. However, the power and torque outputs, which are unannounced yet, are expected to be similar to the other three motorcycles – 47 bhp and 52.3 Nm respectively.
