2024 Force Gurkha Launched In 3-Door and 5-Door Versions, Gets CEAT Czar AT Tyres

With new features and tweaks to its engine, wheels and tyres, the updated Force Gurkha has arrived in both 3-door and 5-door iterations. In addition to the features and changes introduced, here are all the details of the new tyres and wheels offered in the updated Force Gurkha:

• The updated Force Gurkha is available in a standard variant in two versions – 3-door (Rs 16.75 lakh) and 5-door (Rs 18 lakh).
• Both versions flaunt 18-inch alloys and 255/65 R18 CEAT Czar all-terrain tyres. 
• The 2.6-litre four-cylinder diesel engine now produces 140 PS of power and four-wheel drive.
• The new features introduced comprise a full-TFT instrument console, a new 9-inch touchscreen, etc.
  

Force has given its lifestyle off-roader SUV, the Gurkha, some key updates, which also include the addition of a new 5-door, seven-seater version. With the prices starting at 16.75 lakh, the Force Gurkha, which is now available in both 3-door and 5-door versions. Further, it comes with a few updates, including new features in the cabin, a more powerful engine and a new set of wheels and tyres. 

Here is some information about all the changes with which the new Force Gurkha has been introduced:

Force Gurkha: Tyres And Wheels

With the all-new updated versions, the Force Gurkha now comes with brand-new 18-inch alloy wheels as standard in 3-door and 5-door variants, unlike the 16-inch alloy wheels in the erstwhile 3-door version. These new 18-inch alloy wheels are wrapped with 255/65 R18 CEAT Czar A/T all-terrain tyres as standard.

Designed exclusively for rugged SUVs and off-roaders, the CEAT Czar A/T tyres for Force Gurkha enhance effortlessness in both urban and off-road driving conditions, thanks to its durable tread design. For added assurance while driving in diverse terrains, the tyre has a 2D sipe at the tread. The sidewalls of CEAT Czar A/T have a rim protector for protection from sidewall damage and come with a bold inscription of C.E.A.T that gives it a commanding appearance. 

Force Gurkha: Looks And Design

Force has made no visual changes on the exterior of the Gurkha, with the only change here being the addition of rear door panels in the 5-door version. The SUV continues to be offered with a boxy and upright design, complete with rounded LED headlamps with LED DRLs, fender-mounted turn indicators, a factory-fitted snorkel and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. The all-black cabin, however, has been updated with a full-TFT instrument console and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. While the 3-door version continues to be available with a four-seater layout, the new 5-door version gets a flat bench for the second row and two forward-facing captain seats in the third row. 

Force Gurkha: Engine And Specifications

The only engine option which is common in both 3-door and 5-door Force Gurkha is a 2.6-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which has been retained from the pre-facelift 3-door Force Gurkha. However, this diesel engine has been retuned and now produces a maximum power output of 140 PS and a maximum torque output of 320 Nm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, while the shift-on-fly four-wheel drive system as standard.
