CEAT To Supply Tyres For Royal Enfield Interceptor 650

CEAT also supplies tyres for Royal Enfield Bullet, Classic, Himalayan, and Meteor
Homegrown tyre major, CEAT has announced its association with Royal Enfield to supply tyres for its Interceptor 650cc motorcycles.
CEAT is the first Indian manufacturer to supply tyres as original fitment for the Interceptor 650cc range, said the tyremaker in a release. Up until now, the motorcycle was offered with the Pirelli Phantom SportsComp tyre.
The Interceptor will come fitted with CEAT Zoom Cruz tyres and the sizes on offer are 100/90-18 and 130/70-18. With this association, CEAT marks its entry for the first time in the 650 cc segment for any two-wheeler vehicle as well as the twin-engine cylindrical motorcycles segment.
According to the company, these tyres provide excellent ride comfort and control while cruising at high speeds. The tyre pattern is designed to provide safety while leaning and cornering with excellent traction on wet roads.
