The Yezdi Roadster is one of the three motorcycles with which the brand Yezdi made a comeback after almost four-five decades in India. For those who prefer to ride subtle-looking neo-retro roadsters, the Yezdi Roadster charms with both of its variants – Dark and Chrome.
The Dark variant has side panels, engine and exhaust pipes finished in black, and is available in Inferno Red, Glacial White, Smoke Grey, Hunter Green and Steel Blue colour options. The more-premium Chrome variant, available in Sin Silver and Gallant Grey colour options, comes with engine and exhaust pipes finished in a theme of chrome.
The Chrome variant additionally comes with a transparent windscreen at the front and chrome-finished rearview mirrors, tail lamp and turn indicators. Meanwhile, the Dark variant has bar-end mirrors and a different seat. However, both the variants have the same round-themed fuel tank with no graphics and side pads, a digital instrument console and a pillion backrest as standard.
The single-pod fully-digital instrument console of the Roadster has indications for vehicle speed, engine RPM, fuel level, odometer, trip meters, gear indicator and more.
Both the variants of the Yezdi Raoadster have the same four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 334cc engine. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox, this engine is capable of putting up a maximum power output of 29.63 PS and a peak torque output of 28.95 Nm. Weighing 194 kg, the Yezdi Roadster has a seat height of 790mm.
Under the skin too, the Yezdi Roadster has a simple and conventional setup, with its suspension combination consisting of 41mm telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged 5-step adjustable coil springs.
