Honda XL750 Transalp: Tyres & Wheels
Being a premium middleweight adventure tourer, the Honda XL750 Transalp has been equipped with tubeless tyres over spoke wheels – 90/90-21 at the front and 150/70 R18 at the rear. Both these tyres are Metzeler Karoo Street units, with the rear one being a radial tyre.
Complementing the off-road-oriented styling and chassis of the Honda XL750 Transalp, the Metzeler Karoo Street has been designed for an all-rounding performance on and off the roads. For better stability on off-road and loose surfaces, the Metzeler Karoo Street features longitudinal grooves, giving self-cleaning ability from mud and dirt and transversal grooves for better traction on off-road surfaces.

More traction on off-road surfaces for the Metzeler Karoo Street is ensured by extra large central blocks and a V-shaped block layout, the latter of which also helps it in giving a lower wear rate. The increased footprint area of this tyre, due to the wide lateral blocks, increases the grip and stability while cornering.
