New Baleno will come fitted with Apollo Alnac 4Gs tyre in size 185/65 R15 and 195/55 R16
Apollo Tyres, the leading tyre manufacturer in the country, has announced that its Alnac 4G tyre has been selected by Maruti Suzuki as the OE fitment for its newly launched Baleno hatchback.
The tyre maker will supply Apollo Alnac 4Gs for 185/65 R15 and 195/55 R16 tyre sizes of Maruti Baleno in the domestic market.
The premium hatchback was recently launched with several exteriors and interior updates with a new engine under the hood. And picking up Alnac 4G as an OE fitment would surely boost the tyre’s credibility in the market.
Apollo Alnac 4G series was launched in 2013, and since then, it has been widely appreciated and accepted by several OEMs, and customers from the replacement market.
Apart from being one of the favourites among the passenger vehicle manufacturers, according to an internal evaluation, the Apollo Alnac 4G is the highest-selling tyre in the entire passenger vehicle category of the Indian auto market.
Apollo Alnac 4Gs – Customized for Baleno
The Apollo Alnac 4G tyres have been tailor-made to offer enhanced durability, low rolling resistance, and improved riding comfort, as required by the new Baleno premium hatchback.
The tyre is known for its high-quality driving precision, striking control, enhanced braking and flawless stability while cornering.
The tyre contains an exclusive combination of rubber compounds ensuring optimal traction, superior dry and wet braking. The special tread pattern with a large outer shoulder helps in accurate steering control while changing lanes.
Moreover, the solid rib at the centre is specifically optimized for an improved contact patch. The Alnac 4G has undergone extensive tests at renowned global automotive facilities such as ATP Papenburg in Germany and IDIADA in Spain, showing outstanding skills. The Apollo 4Gs is the updated version of the popular 4G and has been a blockbuster in the European markets.
