Second-gen Hyundai Creta Facelift Introduced, On Sale In India: All Details On Changes And Tyres

After a slight delay and following much anticipation, the Hyundai Creta facelift has finally launched in India, which is very different from the versions sold overseas. Here are all the details of its tyre options, along with the significant design updates and engine options on offer:
- The prices for the refreshed Hyundai Creta lineup now start at Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
- The lower-spec E, EX and S variants come with 16-inch radials, while the higher-spec S (O), SX, SX Tech and SX (O) variants have 17-inch alloy wheels.
- The Hyundai Creta range comes with Apollo Alnac 4G as standard tyres in two sizes – 205/65 R16 for 16-inch steel wheels and 215/60 R17 for 17-inch alloy wheels.
- Changes in the new Creta include revised designs for the front and rear profiles, an all-new cabin and add-ons like Level 2 ADAS and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine option.
After releasing teaser images and videos on its social media handles, Hyundai has lifted off the covers from the facelifted version of the Creta. As expected, the new Hyundai Creta facelift gets extensive changes inside-out, along with a few new features and the latest added powertrain option of a turbocharged petrol engine.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift: Tyres & Wheels
The Hyundai Creta facelift comes with 16-inch steel wheels in the lower-spec variants – E, EX and S, while the higher-spec S (O), SX, SX Tech and SX (O) variants come with 17-inch alloy wheels – black alloys in S (O) and diamond-cut alloys in SX, SX Tech and SX (O) variants. The entire Hyundai Creta facelift lineup has been equipped with Apollo Alnac 4G tyre as standard – 205/65 R16 over 16-inch steel wheels and 215/60 R17 over 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Apollo Alnac 4G has been designed to enhance the overall driving dynamics and braking of midsize sedans and SUVs. The tread pattern of this tyre has a larger outer shoulder for precise control while making quick lane changes. This Apollo tyres has a stiffer rib at the centre and a specially optimised contact patch that enhances steering precision. The Alnac 4G tyre from Apollo gets a premium tread compound based on higher Tg rubber, which enhances its braking over dry surfaces.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift: Looks & Design
Hyundai has extensively transformed the front and rear exterior profiles, cabin layout and equipment list for the new Creta facelift. While the front profile now gets a rectangular-themed grille and headlamps and connected daytime running LEDs, the rear profile has also been tweaked with a new set of LED tail lamps with a connected LED light bar between them.
The cabin layout of the new Hyundai Creta facelift is also entirely revised, with a full-TFT cockpit including 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument console. The lower centre console looks new and gets a slanted design, gloss-black finish and revised buttons for the dual-zone automatic climate control.
While the new Creta retains previously-available features like powered driver’s seat, panoramic sunroof, premium BOSE audio system, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, ambient lighting and air purifier, the new version also gets Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree parking camera and sequential LED turn indicators.

2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift: Engine & Specifications
For the new Creta facelift, Hyundai has retained the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine (115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque) and the 1.5-litre diesel engine (115 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque) from the pre-facelift model.
