Yokohama launches 3 new High Performance tyres to mark its 100th Anniversary

Yokohama, Japan's oldest tyre manufacturer, completed its 100 years with the beginning the year 2017. To mark ts centenary the tyre maker launched 3 new High Performance tyres for European market at the 25th Autosport International event. Yokohama Advan A052, Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 and Geolandar A/T G015 were the latest additions to Yokohama's long list of diverse product range.
David Seward, Managing Director for Yokohama HPT, commented, “As Japan’s oldest tyre manufacturer, Yokohama celebrates its centenary year in 2017 so it is only fitting that we will be kicking off the year at Autosport International with so many new and exciting product launches”.

Yokohama Advan A052 is a street legal race tyre specially designed for high performance sports cars, after sale tuned vehicles and racing cars. It is a Semi-Slick tyre, made using innovative soft rubber compound.
The tread pattern is developed using that of Rally tyre -Advan A051T. This renders the tyre exceptional cornering skills along with excellent wet and dry traction.
Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 is also a High Performance tyre and makes use of an innovative tread pattern to ensure superior cornering capabilities and precise high speed handling. In spite of being an HP rated tyre, Fleva V701 comes with an optimized tread pattern to offer a quiet and comfortable ride quality.
The last addition is made to its range of SUV and 4X4 tyres. Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 is an all-terrain tyre that is suitable for snow as well. It comes with large lugs for superior traction and its high rubber content makes for long tread life.
Yokohama has been actively garnering more share in passenger vehicles. This, along with the brand's active involvement in racing and rally sports has considerably increased Yokohama's brand value as a reliable tyre manufacture. It recently renewed its contract as the official tyre supplier for Formula 3 racing.
