JK Tyre showcases new tyre concepts at IRE 2015

JK Tyre & Industries Ltd has showcased its new product range across different segments-Passenger Cars, Truck, Light Commercial Vehicle and Farm Radials at the 8th Indian Rubber Expo and Tyre show in Delhi.

The ultra-high performance tyre by JK tyres - Ultra Hi, low aspect ratio 17” Concept tyres are completely made of silica technology and multi-layer tread compound with colors matching the car aesthetics. The Ultra Hi is made of two extreme technologies that offer low fuel consumption, high-end traction and can handle high performance vehicles. The concept tyre was developed in India at JK Tyre’s Tech Centre and is currently being tested in global testing grounds.

The JK Tyre UX1 is also an Ultra High Performance tyre that offers comfortable ride and durability on Indian roads. The tyre is especially designed for high-end luxury cars like Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

The company also showcased its upcoming tyre range across different segments. In the passenger car segment, the Indian tyre marque introduced a High Performance Asymmetric Tyre range that has been designed for high-end sedans in the country like Honda City, Hyundai Verna, VW-Vento and Suzuki Ciaz. Other products on display include JK Tyre’s All-Terrain tyres for the SUV segment and Ultima-XPC1, Merica Selecta Plus and Turbo for international markets.

In the farm segment, The company has also developed radial technology for India - Steel belted Farm Radial tyres for Indian Farming needs. Some of the characteristics of the JK Tyre Steel belted farm radial tyre are:

· Resistant to puncture

· Draw-bar pull for providing high traction in different soil conditions

· High resistance to wear during long hours

· Fuel efficient

Not only in India, JK Tyres is also expanding its portfolio to export markets like the US and Latin America.

Jk Tyres is also planning to strengthen its product portfolio in the country by changing its after-sales services by introducing international practices for its consumers.
