Yokohama BluEarth AE-01 To Be The Official OE Tyre For Honda N-Box

With the BluEarth AE-01 tyre for Honda N-Box, Yokohama has affirmed its presence by offering durable and efficient tyres for compact vehicles.
- Yokohama BluEarth AE-01 will be available in the tyre size of 155/65 R14 75S for the Honda N-Box.

Yokohama has announced that its BlueEarth AE-01 tyre has been chosen as the original equipment (OE) tyre for the newly launched Honda N-Box Kei car in Japan. The new Honda N-Box has a tyre size of 155/65 R14 75S, and the Yokohama BluEarth AE-01 will be the official factory-fitted tyre for the new Kei car, which has gone on sale exclusively in Japan in October 2023.

Designed to be an environmentally-friendly tyre for the new-age compact and modern passenger cars, the Yokohama BluEarth range has the AE-01 tyre model as one of its most affordable and smallest tyres. The Yokohama BluEarth AE-01 has been chosen as the official tyre for the Honda N-Box in 155/65 R14 tyre size for all four wheels of the micro hatchback.
The Yokohama BluEarth AE-01 primarily intends to increase the fuel efficiency of a car. This tyre features a low heat generating nano-power rubber compound, which suppresses heat generation inside the tyre, which eventually slows down its rolling resistance and energy loss and increases the fuel efficiency of a vehicle.
Further, for a reassured grip over wet surfaces, the Yokohama BluEarth AE-01 also has an orange oil exclusively patented by Yokohama, along with well-dispersed silica in its composition.
About Honda N-Box
Introduced for the first time in August 2023, the Honda N-Box has officially entered into its third-generation version, which continues to wear the boxy design language reminiscent of Japanese Kei cars suitable for urban conditions. This entry-level compact car from Honda is now offered with a 658cc inline-three turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 64 PS of maximum power output and returns 24-26 kmpl of maximum fuel efficiency.
The engine here is paired to a CVT gearbox and allows the Honda N-Box to attain a top speed of around 140 kmph. Measuring 3395mm long, 1475mm wide and 1800mm tall, the Honda N-Box has a tyre size of 155/65 R14 for all of its 14-inch steel wheels.
