Here Are The Best Tyres For Tata Yodha
Published On 23-Jun-2023
A reincarnation of the popular Tata 207 and Tata Xenon, the Tata Yodha is one of the largest and most powerful commercial pickup trucks offered in India. Check out all the tyre details and tyre options available for the Tata Yodha:
- The Tata Yodha is a mildly-restyled version of the Tata Xenon and has been designed in a basic manner for the targeted audience.
- There are three variants of the Tata Yodha – Yodha 1700, Yodha 1500 and Yodha 1200, are made available with same 215/75 R16 tyres over the 16-inch wheels.
- The design of the single cab of the Yodha has been shared with the now-defunct Tata Xenon and has been mildly re-designed with a body-coloured front grille.
- The all-grey cabin of the Tata Yodha gets bare-basic items like a music system, AC and storage places.
- The only engine with which the Tata Yodha is on sale is a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which makes 98.7 PS of power and 220 Nm of torque while being paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
To continue its supremacy in the single-cab commercial pickup truck segment, Tata Motors redesigned and re-engineered the 207 with mild changes and relaunched it as Yodha. Available in three variants – each of which differs based on its payload capacities, the Tata Yodha has gradually become one of the most desirable small commercial vehicles.
With large dimensions compared to its direct rivals, the Tata Yodha has a muscular road presence for a commercial vehicle. While the 207 genes are still present in the pickup truck, it looks more modern with redesigned elements like a slanted trapezoidal grille with horizontal slats and angular trapezoidal headlamps flanking the grille. The Yodha also comes with a body-coloured front bumper, which comes with provisions for rounded fog lamps on the corners.
The cabin of the Tata Yodha looks very much inspired by the Tata Xenon, its predecessor model. The slightly-dated looking cabin of the Yodha has an all-grey theme covered in bland and hard plastics. The conventional-looking steering wheel and instrument console with analogue gauges, along with the curved-themed centre console, make the cabin look basic and feel built to a cost. However, the cabin gets basic features like AC, a music system and dual gloveboxes along with bottle holders.
All three variants of the Tata Yodha get the same 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine under their hoods, which used to power its predecessor, the Tata Xenon. This diesel engine is coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox and churns out 98.7 PS of maximum power and 250 Nm of maximum torque.
The overall dimensions and size of the deck behind the three variants of the Yodha are similar, though they differ based on their payload capacities mentioned in their suffixes. In terms of suspension, the three variants of the Tata Yodha come with semi-elliptical leaf springs at the front and two-stage semi-elliptical leaf springs at the rear.
