New Goodyear RangeMax Tyres Introduced For Regional Delivery Fleet Vehicles
Published On 14-Mar-2024
The two new tyres – RangeMax RSA ULT and RangeMax RTD ULT – are designed to achieve better range efficiency and improved traction.
- Both the new Goodyear RangeMax tyres have been launched in two tyre sizes – 225/70 R19.5 and 245/70 R19.5.
- The new Goodyear RangeMax RSA ULT has Intellimax technology for stiffer treads, making it durable in the long run.
- The new Goodyear RangeMax RTD ULT uses a soybean oil tread compound for reduced petroleum use.
- Both these tyres meet the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) traction rating.
Expanding its product portfolio of tyres for rugged and durable fleet vehicles, Goodyear has added two new tyres to its RangeMax lineup – The RangeMax RSA ULT and RangeMax RTD ULT. The two new Goodyear RangeMax tyres are designed to be compatible with various electric, gas and diesel-powered regional work vehicles used for fleet purposes.
Like the other tyres in the RangeMax lineup, the new Goodyear RangeMax RSA ULT and RangeMax RTD ULT tyres intend to enhance traction, mileage and range. In addition to these benefits, the new Goodyear RangeMax tyres also improve range efficiency with low rolling resistance and achieve cost savings and sustainability goals for fleets.
Goodyear RangeMax RSA ULT
The newly launched Goodyear RangeMax RSA ULT is being offered in two sizes – 225/70 R19.5 and 245/70 R19.5. Claiming to offer 10 per cent better-rolling resistance over the already-on-sale Goodyear Fuel Max RSA ULT, the new Goodyear RangeMax RSA ULT features Intellimax technology for stiffer tread, which eventually makes it more durable in the long run.
The new Goodyear RangeMax tyre also has a sawtooth shoulder groove design and advanced tread compounds, which give it an aggressive pattern that helps it gain additional traction over muddy and snowy surfaces.
Goodyear RangeMax RTD ULT
Like the Goodyear RangeMax RSA ULT, the other tyre launched by Goodyear, the RangeMax RTD ULT is also available in 225/70 R19.5 and 245/70 R19.5 tyre sizes and meets three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) traction rating for better traction and acceleration in varying weather conditions.
However, the differences in the Goodyear RangeMax RTD ULT start appearing in its composition and design, as it uses a soybean oil tread compound for reduced petroleum use. This new Goodyear RangeMax tyre also has a deep open-shoulder tread design or improved traction for lesser replacements and longer durability.
On the occasion of the launch of these two new tyres, Rich Cottrell, Senior Director of Commercial Marketing, Goodyear North America said that these new tyres have been designed with feedback gained from the brand’s fleet partners. He also added that both the new Goodyear RangeMax tyres combine low rolling resistance with new-age innovative features like long-lasting tread compounds and premium casings for increased vehicle time and reduced investment required for tyre replacements.
