Pirelli P Zero E Bags "Tyre Of The Year Award" At 2023 Automobile Awards In Paris

Pirelli P Zero E was among the 53 brands that contested for the “Tyre of the Year” award at the sixth edition of Automobile Awards, by a jury of 20 members.
- The Pirelli P Zero E is the first UHP tyre with bio-based and recycled materials comprising 55 per cent of its composition.
- Compared to other UHP tyres from Pirelli, the Pirelli P Zero E has a 42 per cent lower tyre wear rate.

The recently-held sixth edition of Automobile Awards at Automobile Club de France in Paris witnessed the Pirelli P Zero E being awarded the coveted “Tyre of the Year” honour. Elected by a jury comprising 20 members, the Pirelli P Zero E was one among the 53 brands which contested for the prize.
With 55 per cent of its composition comprising bio-based and recycled materials, the Pirelli P Zero E ultra-high performance (UHP) tyre claims to offer a 42 per cent lesser wear rate. It is also the first UHP tyre in Europe to achieve a triple-A rating on the European tyre label for all of its tyre sizes across its entire range.
The Pirelli P Zero E has an “Elect” marking on its sidewall, indicating that it is exclusively designed and developed for all-electric vehicles. Compared to other UHP tyres, the Pirelli P Zero E has reduced rolling resistance and road noise. It also features a new technology from Pirelli called “RunForward, which allows it to be in use for up to 40 km at 80 kmph in the event of a puncture. Pirelli has also used advanced artificial virtualization technologies for designing the P Zero E tyre.
