Hero MotoCorp has recently introduced its new Xoom 110cc scooter to cement its position in the market. The Xoom is a sportier scooter that aims to dominate the urban streets with a powerful engine and 12-inch tyres.

Hero Xoom 110 Tyres & Wheels

The Xoom 110 features MRF Nylogrip Zapper FG stock tyres sized 90/90-12 for the front and rear of the base LX variant, and 100/80-12 for the rear of VX and ZX models. The tyres come with 12-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, which enhance stability while going at high speeds.  

The MRF Nylogrip Zapper FG tyre is a high-performance, reliable product specially crafted for small-capacity scooters. The tyre offers an outstanding grip and is yet less wearable. The centre groove in the tyre improves wet traction, while in terms of handling, stability, and cornering, the wide lateral and circumferential grooves do the right job.

Hero Xoom 110 Styling & Features

On the styling front, the new Hero Xoom 110 is a completely fresh approach, and this is reflected in its sporty intentions. The scooter features a striking aerodynamic design with an LED projector headlamp and H-styled LED DRL. The front fascia appears to be inspired by TVS Ntorq 125.

The rear end is equally appealing with a sporty muffler and signature H-shaped LED taillight. Feature-wise, the scooter gets a front USB charger, first-in-class corner bend lamps, an open glove box and a fully digital instrument that offers real-time mileage, low fuel warning, and smartphone kinds of stuff, such as SMS alert and Caller Id, when connected to Bluetooth.

Hero Xoom 110 Engine & specifications

The scooter shares the 110.9cc engine from sibling Maestro Edge, producing 8.15PS and 8.7Nm torque. The i3S start/stop system is meant to enhance fuel economy. Underpinned by a traditional telescopic front fork and mono-shock at the rear, the scooter employs drum brakes in the LX and VX variants and front disc brakes in the ZX model.
