Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition Gets MRF Wanderer Street Tyres

• The 16-inch alloy wheels of Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition come with 215/60 R16 MRF Wanderer Street tyres.

Based on the top-spec variant of the already-available Nexon EV, this new Dark Edition variant features all the bells and whistles of the former, along with the traditional black-themed paint and elements inside-out.

Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition: Tyres & Wheels

As the Safari Red Dark Edition showcased along with it at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, the Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition also gets MRF Wanderer Street tyres. The 16-inch blacked-out alloy wheels of the Nexon EV Dark Edition get 215/60 R16 MRF Wanderer Street tyres as standard, which are the same tyres that are offered on other higher-spec variants of Nexon. 

The MRF Wanderer Street has a multi-layered reinforced steel belt package with N-66 ply, which along with its cut-resistant tread compounds and a multi-layered, high-modulus carcass and sidewall, ensures good all-terrain performance. It also has a computer-generated tread block sequence and structure profile and bold sidewall graphics for a sturdy and stylish appearance.

Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition: Looks & Design

As it has been the theme of Dark Edition models from Tata Motors, the new Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition wears an all-black exterior paint. Along with ‘Dark’ badges on the front fenders, it also gets a blacked-out finish for various elements like the closed front grille, fog lamp housings, front bumper inserts, 16-inch alloy wheels and ‘Tata’ and ‘Nexon’ logos.

The cabin of the Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition also features an all-black theme for the cabin with black leather upholstery. It retains all the features of the top-spec Nexon EV, such as a full-TFT instrument console, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 9-speaker audio system from JBL, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, sunroof and more. 

Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition: Engine & Specifications

The Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition has been unveiled only in the Long-Range version for now, which comes with a 40.5kWh battery pack claiming 465 km range on a single charge. The Nexon EV Dark Edition also has a front-mounted electric motor, which generates 143 bhp of maximum power and 215 Nm of maximum torque.
